Conclusion of successful maiden flight test of Akash prime missile
The Indian company (DRDO) Defence Research and Development Organisation has successfully flight tested an advanced version of Akash prime missile on Monday from the integrated test range at chandipur in Odisha
Defense research and development organisation (DRDO) is an agency under the ministry of defence. It's headquarters in New Delhi. If was started in 1958 by amalgamation Defense science organisation (DSO). At this time DRDO was working in Technical development for India Army and Directorate of technical development & production with defence science organisation.

Combined into a single company which name is DRDO.
At this time DRDO started with 10 laboratories . Now a days DRDO has 52 laboratories which is deeply engaged in development of defence equipment covering in field of Aeronautics, Armaments, electronic ,combat vehicle, engineering systems, instruments, missile, advanced drones etc are already made by DRDO in modern advanced technology. Which is more beneficial for Indian Army.
Presently, DRDO has 5000 scientists and about 25,000 other scientific team for technical support.

Akash prime missile is intercepted and destroyed and unmanned aerial target mimicking an enemy aircraft in its maiden flight test. The Akash prime is updated version of Akash missile systems. DRDO Chairman Dr G Satheesh Ready congratulated the team of the successful flight trial of Akash prime missile. He told Akash prime missile systems will further boost the confidence to the Indian Army and air force as the Akash systems already indicated and now getting improving with more lethal missile.
The comparison between Akash missile systems and Akash prime missile systems, the Akash prime missile systems is fully activated radio frequency operating system. It gives more accurately target detection within few seconds.
And the other improvements also ensure more reliable performance under low temperature environment at higher altitudes. The modification of Akash ground weapons systems is under development. The range station of ITR comparison radar,electro optical tracking system and telemetry stations. Monitored the missile trajectory and flight parameters.
On 23 July 2021 , the new generation of Akash surface-to-air missile was successful test. The new variant of the Akash missile (Akash-NG) has striking range of 70 kilometres. The medium range missile is capable of carrying nuclear warheads. The Akash-NG was first tested on 25 January 2021. It was tested for second time on 23 march, and third test was conducted on July 21.
