Dasu dam conflict : China demand USD 38 million compensation for his death worker from Pakistan


As per a Pakistani daily financial newspaper business recorder publisher  published in 14 July 2021 that China has demand USD 38 million compensation from Pakistan for his Chinese death worker, who are died in bus accident while working in the dasu  hydroelectric project.

In the accident nine Chinese engineer , thirteenth people, two local and two personnel of the frontier constabulary died, when a bus carrying the team worker on the project fell into a ravine after it was hit by a car , The bus explosive.



In this case China was very aggressive mood for solving this situation Pakistan ministry of foreign affairs, ministry of interior, ministry of water resources and Chinese embassy were working for compensation to the death worker.


According to sources, the steering committee the comprising secretary of concerned ministries
has constituted another committee which deliberated on the issue to the dasu project, especially the volume of compensation being demanded by the Chinese government.


The committee has constituted a sub- committee for comprising all the relevant ministries to discuss about the compensation package by discussions with Chinese embassy. The proposed package is being termed as " Irrational" .
Now the compensation amount are not decided, but the Chinese government demand  USD38 million compensation. Finally the compensation amount are not decided  , after few weeks it was decided.
