Brahmos-2 missile is the advanced cruise missile, which is the upgrade version of Brahmos-1 missile. The Brahmos-2 or Brahmos mark -2 are a single missile, but different name.  Brahmos mark-2 is the upgrade version of Brahmos-2 missile.

Brahmos -2 missile is a hypersonic cruise missile currently under joint development by India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Russia's NPO Mashinostrohenia , which are together formed  a Brahmos Aerospace private limited company. It is the second version of Brahmos -1 cruise missile. first version is Brahmos-1.

Brahmos-2 range is about 1000 km and it's speed is Mach 8. It's speed is 3times more speed than sound speed . The Brahmos missile speed is very high due to its "scramjet airbreathing jet engine" . The speed of Brahmos-2 is double from the  Brahmos-1 missile. 

Russian NPOM company details description

Russian NPOM company was established in 1944 for development of rocket for Russian military.  It's headquarters in Reutov in Russia. It is the mother company of Tactical missile corporation. It is product in the fields of missile, Ballistic missile, cruise missile, 

Anti- ship missile, Space-craft and vehicle launcher.

India's DRDO company details description

India's DRDO ( defence research and development organisation ) is established in the year of 1958. It is the parent company of Defence Science Organisation (DSO). 

It's headquarters in New Delhi. It working in the fields of Aeronautics, Armaments, electronic,combat vehicle, engineering systems, missiles drones etc.

Brahmos-2 

Now a days Brahmos missile have multiple varient like Hypersonic cruise missile, Air-launched cruise missile, Anti-ship missile, land attack missile, surface- to-surface missile all are manufacturing by Brahmos Aerospace private limited company in India, which is joint venture of Indian DRDO and Russia's NPOM company.

It can be launched in ship, submarine, aircraft and land-base mobile launcher.

The design of Brahmos missile was completed in the year of 2011 and the successful testing start in the year of 2012. The cost of the Brahmos missile is about $ 2.73 million USA dollars. Now Indian Army use of Brahmos-1 version. The Brahmos-2 version is under processing.

Now the Brahmos missile is the fastest super sonic cruise missile in the world.  The Brahmos name originated from Indian River Brahmaputra and Russian Moskva.
